A Day of Reflection with Our Lady of Guadalupe and the Female Prophets of Advent

As we prepare to celebrate Christ’s birth, we long for God’s values to be fully realized on earth as in heaven.  On this special day of reflection, we will learn how Our Lady of Guadalupe brought new hope to indigenous peoples in Mexico.  We will explore the phenomenon of prophecy with a special emphasis on Isaiah and the women prophets of Judaism and Christianity.  Come, pray together and take comfort that God-with-us-and-within-us can transform the evils that threaten the peoples of our earth:  ‘Behold my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen, in whom my soul delights; upon whom I have put my Spirit to bring forth justice to the nations’  (Is: 42:1).
